"She's very fond of stratagems. In fact, she's cowardly."

Getting it all put back together.

HUMAN SCALE.

HUMAN SCALE?

p.s. more humane: symbol or metaphor?

(but if you closed the door, I'd never have to see the day again)

I will soon be exploding.  I don't think I am alone in this.

In bTech, Dan Rockhill was talking about salvaging materials from the Sunflower munitions plant. Each magazine building was dug into the groud with earth berms all around and isolated from the others.  This was so that explosions wouldn't cause a chain reaction.  The place was just a cluster of roofs barely poking up from the ground.

sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Tonight, I have seen two flies die on their backs, flailing legs suddenly still. It takes a long time for this to happen.  I am fascinated by this flaw.  It's like a stereo without a volume up button.

hopped inside just before the rain began

in time to hear it build slowly on the roof.

Emerged from a lecture discussing music massing and doubt.

A quick walk thinking about the potential of dreams and how far off one should wander.  Maybe there isn't a line between interesting and practical.  Maybe if you dream that your dreams are real, the reality of this dream falls into place--with enough passion and trust (but I think you must really believe).

"He reads.  He observes.  He thinks.  He draws.  It is as simple or as complex as that."

That is the history of ideas.  Ideas die and wait thousands of years.
